Pirelli expands the range of premium smartube inner tubes for bike tires with the Smartube X models, which have triple the thickness compared to the previous version for maximum durability and puncture resistance, suitable for urban, gravel, or e-bike use. Pirelli SmarTUBE X is the new TPU inner tube model that Pirelli dedicates to the Cinturato tire families. Three times thicker than the current CinturatoSmarTUBE (which it replaces), the SmarTUBE X offers strength and puncture resistance. It is especially ideal for city environments or fast commuting use. The new SmarTUBE X Cinturato tubes are available for tires from 28-622 to 40-622 and from 40-622 to 50-622, with Presta or Schrader valves, and are extremely compact: 50% less bulk in jersey pockets or backpacks compared to traditional butyl tubes, while maintaining the necessary air impermeability like the latter.
