Graphene 2.0

With the goal of pushing beyond what is thought possible, Vittoria has developed a new generation of Graphene: Graphene 2.0. Unlike the first generation of Graphene, the new Graphene 2.0 is designed to improve specific tire performance aspects. In other words, while the first generation of Graphene compounds raised the overall level uniformly, Graphene 2.0 targets individual performance metrics and boosts them disproportionately compared to others. Vittoria can now use Graphene to achieve performance improvements specifically aimed at enhancing speed, wet grip, durability, and puncture resistance each time.

Vittoria Clinchers

The clincher tire is the most common type of tire and necessarily requires the use of an inner tube. The clincher consists of a fabric casing (mainly nylon), can have a steel bead (rigid bead) or an aramid bead (foldable bead), and undergoes a vulcanization process. This irreversible process involves subjecting the rubber to high temperatures along with a curing agent – usually carbon – to increase the rubber’s strength and durability.
