Modern XC bikes, which combine aggressive geometry and drivetrains, are not only designed for agile climbing but also for letting go (and having fun) on the most technical descents. Syerra is the ideal tire for this type of bike thanks to the high-traction central tread pattern and the spaced, shaped, and lugged side tread designed to attack the terrain on climbs, braking, and corners; providing grip on rocks and roots. The well-spaced lugs allow the tread to self-clean from mud and dirt.

Syerra floats over sections with roots and technical rock gardens that we wouldn’t have dreamed of riding on 29" wheels a decade ago. Despite the increased cushioning and grip, the relatively light weight of the Syerra makes the tire fast and smooth.
