The special feature of the brake disc is a patented interlocking of the external and internal ring, called Ovetail Interlink Technology. When the external ring expands due to the heat, the internal ring is further supported by this interlocking. Unlike floating discs, the couple is thus transmitted on the entire surface instead of only through the rivets.
