Features:

Adaptable to any rim profile

Thanks to the included conical adapter, the Caffélatex Tubeless Valve works on both Presta and Schrader drilled rims:

• on Presta drilled rims (valve hole diameter: 6.5 mm): depending on the rim shape, the flat rubber valve base may provide a perfect air seal without any additional adapter, or the conical adapter may be necessary;
• on Presta drilled rims with a larger internal hole (> 6.5 mm), or on Schrader drilled rims (valve hole diameter: 8.5 mm): it is recommended to mount the conical adapter on the valve before inserting it into the rim.

With an incredible variety of rim profiles on the market, in some cases a flat-based tubeless valve works better than a conical-based valve and vice versa. In Effetto Mariposa valves, the conical adapter allows switching from flat to conical in an instant.

Lightweight and reliable

The aluminum alloy bends before breaking, adding reliability to the lightness required by modern rims. The weight(*) is 3.6 g for 40 mm, 5.1 g for 70 mm, and 6.5 g for 100 mm.

Removable valve core

This feature allows easy replacement of the mechanism and the installation of our specific Caffélatex Tubeless Valve Extensions.

Available sizes

• 40 mm length, for rim profiles between 10 and 37 mm (10 to 34 mm with conical adapter mounted)
• 70 mm length, for rim profiles between 37 and 67 mm (34 to 64 mm with conical adapter mounted)
• 100 mm length, for rim profiles between 67 and 97 mm (64 to 94 mm with conical adapter mounted)

These, plus the 35 mm or 45 mm Caffélatex Valve Extensions, allow fitting practically any rim on the market.
