The 13 -speed Ekar Pignoni package is available in three different options, which complete the range and reflect the different specializations within the Gravel scene, and each combination provides for a progression of very fluid relationships. Small jumps for the first 6 pignons, while the jumps increase in the second half, where there are the largest pignons. This feature allows you to offer an optimal saddle experience and helps you get your best from your performance on difficult paths and soils. The wide choice on the larger pignons allows you to have the most compact corn pack for endurance events and longer relationships for the most adventurous riders. The combinations of the pignons are combined with dedicated gears, easily replaceable, to provide the largest range of relationships, soft passages and maximum efficiency and, unlike 2x systems, no waste. Two of the three combinations are equipped with a 9 -teeth pign. In -depth comparative tests have shown that the 9 -teeth pign is as efficient as any 10 or 11 teeth pign, without additional friction through the special profile toothing, so as not to lose anything of the power produced. Each box is made up of two blocks: 4 smaller pignons and 9 larger pignons in the configuration with 9 teeth departure; 3 smaller and 10 larger for configuration with departure 10. For greater mechanical resistance, a special steel is used with a nickel-crominated surface treatment that allows to reduce usury and friction, providing optimal robustness for The guide on dirt roads.
