At the heart of mountain biking is the desire for adventure and new experiences. This passion drives everything we do, so designing the all-new Ridgeline aluminum handlebar was a dream come true! Our goal was to create the perfect handlebar that “disappears” beneath you encouraging you to chase L'adventure. The 15mm and 25mm rise options allow for a more efficient and aggressive position on the bike and, to get the most out of it, we took an oversized 35mm tube and spread the load over a length of 800mm. It was key for us to keep the weight low without sacrificing durability.
This is where our unique proprietary Gradient But¬ting technology shines and gives DEITY the upper hand: this technology allows us to remove excess material in areas of lower stress and fatigue, which can cause the stiff feeling commonly felt with other 35mm handlebars on the market. We can then add this material to areas of greatest stress and fatigue to increase long-term arm strength.
