The trail version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II features the same tread as its downhill counterpart, but uses a single butted casing to reduce weight. With side caps borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF but widened to provide more support, the Minion DHR II has no cornering competition.
The center tread features ramped lugs for improvement L'acceleration and blades that allow a smooth transition when going into bends. The spatula-shaped plugs on the central tread dig into the ground during sudden braking and help keep the vehicle under control. Use it paired with a Minion DHF for aggressive front-line trail riding!

TR-Tubeless Ready
UST certified Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tires feature the latest technology for the lightest tubeless tires. This technology offers better puncture resistance, holds better Lair and strengthens at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. With LThe addition of a thin layer of fabric covered with a special rubber compound resulted in a lighter, stronger and more airtight carcass.
EXO Protection
It is a material added to the sides of selected mountain bike covers, extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions. This layer obtained with a dense and super-light, highly flexible weave that does not affect the performance of the cover.
WT - Wide Trail
The WT construction optimizes the tire tread and its volume adapting it to the most modern rims. Traditional tires are designed starting from narrower rims and risk creating an excessively square profile, decreasing performance. WT tires are optimized for 35mm wide rims, and work correctly with 30 and 35mm rims.
Dual compound
Two compounds used in the tread to provide less rolling resistance and greater grip when cornering.
