Maxxis Trucks Assgegai 3C MAXX GRIP TUBELESS READY DOUBLE Down 27.5x2.50wt

The exclusive tire of Greg Minnaar, the Maxxis Assagai, offers tenacious and predictable adherence throughout the profile, regardless of the fold corner. The prevention can be used both in front and behind for a safe step sensation or as an anterior combined with a faster rolling tire.

Technology:

3C MAXXGRIP

The 3C MAXXGRIP compound of Maxxis uses the most sticky and slow rebound rubber that we offer in a mountain bike tire. This high -traction compound is the same used by our best athletes from the Downhill World Cup and Enduro World Series and is now available in a variety of carcass configurations to cover all cyclists.

  • 3C MAXXGRIP + CARCASSO EXO = Light Riding Trail in wet conditions/Slick
  • Carcass 3C maxgrip + exo + = all -round riding trail in wet/slippery conditions
  • Carcass 3C maxgrip + doubledown = racing enduro and e-bike
  • 3C MAXXGRIP + DOWNHILL Carcass = E-bike racing downhill and long travel

Double Down (DD)

Doubledown (DD) is our carcass solution for enduro races and the use of e-bikes. Two layers of our light material for the 120 tpi carcass are combined with an insert on the place in the button to create a highly resistant tire with greater feedback on the route compared to a tire with a descent carcass. Doubledown tires are slightly lighter than their downhill counterparts, but it is precisely the difference in the "feeling of trail" that distinguishes them. Some cyclists may prefer the highly dampened guide provided by a tire with a descent carcass.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless Ready tires offer the cyclist numerous advantages: the ability to use lower air pressure, which improves traction; less rolling resistance compared to a tire with a tube; And less chance of flattening because there is no tube. Tubeless Ready tires are marked by "TR" letters on the side.

Tubeless Ready tires must be mounted on tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealing have the additional advantage of sealing small drips. Make sure to regularly check the sealant and refresh it as needed as it will dry over time.

Liquid sealing must be used only in the following types of tires: street tubeless, tubular and tubeless Ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will cancel the guarantee.
