The Japanese house does not stop amaze us with its innovations. This time he dedicated himself to the development and launch of a completely different group: the Grx group, designed for those who love versatility and do not stop in front of obstacles.
Thanks to the constant growth of popularity of the Gravel, Cyclocross and Touring disciplines, Shimano was able to invest his knowledge and enthusiasm in something completely new. Keeping the gearbox extremely precise and the chain in place on any ground has formed a kind of challenge, but it was won thanks to a series of changes from both the MTB models and from the road models. Thus, the built -in stabilizer (clutch) reliablely prevents the chain from chain against the gearbox and against the frame while remaining in position. When passing on the road surface, where the chain control is not vital, the clutch can be deactivated, simply moving the dedicated lever. The gearbox is equipped with its own adjustment screw, on which it is possible to adjust the tension of the cable, and the 13 -tooth pulleys with sealed and extremely efficient bearings. In the 2x11 configuration it will be an excellent choice for Touring on disconnected land.
